The Valley’s LGBTQ+-identifying small business and nonprofit leaders are making subtle and radical shifts every day in how we create, care, and lead.
The Queer Valley Leadership Group provides an opportunity for LGBTQ+-identifying entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, and independent creatives based in the Pioneer Valley and surrounding areas to connect, share experiences in re-imagining systems and approaches, and discuss new resources together.
program details
Meetings are limited to 12 participants so that everyone who would like to can have a chance to speak in the circle
The circle is facilitated by Luc Abbott with the intention of shifting to shared facilitation among all or multiple willing members of the group
Community Agreements are shared ahead of time and at meetings to help reduce harm in a space where discussions have the potential to create conflict
Meetings last 2 hours, allowing time for sharing/listening/discussing in the circle
Covid Safety: Rapid tests will be required in advance or at the door and masks will be encouraged during meetings. If we need to move to an online format at any point to meet community safety needs, we will communicate that change.
