Kid Creatives: Animals All Around
Artists in grades 2nd-5th are invited to explore animals in all kinds of environments during this 5 week Monday afterschool session. Using T.A.B. teaching methods, students will be introduced to art making techniques ranging from painting, paper mache, wire sculpture, drawing, printmaking and more.
Students then spend their studio time applying what they've learned to create whatever they'd like-- a stuffed polar bear, a sculpture of what a shark eats in a day, a diorama of a wolf's habitat...anything is possible! The session concludes with a student art show to celebrate their hard work.
