Ball for All: Auction & Celebration
Enjoy a spread of local desserts and treats, wine, Progression’s iconic brews, music from local DJ BFG, and event emcee DJ Mapes! Come be part of this vibrant tapestry of shared experiences:
Live & Silent Auctions, with bidding opportunities to spend time with local artists and makers to learn new skills! Hyperlocal featured artists will include ceramicists, photographers, fiber artists, printmakers, jewelry makers, and more
Raffle prizes from local businesses, plus original artworks
Participate in on-site art-making at the Ball to celebrate what makes our artistic valley so special: Resiliency and Inclusion.
Have your photo taken on the RED CARPET!
Dress Code: Come SPARKLE & SHINE in your hand-made fashions! Please wear at least one handmade item, whether crafted by you or a local artist and feel free to incorporate some SPARKLE to dance under the mirrorball! Think dressed up, festive, and uniquely you—glitter, shine, and originality are all encouraged! Let’s make this a night to remember, reflecting the art, resilience, and individuality that make our community so special.

Drop-In Public Studio
The time is yours! Drop In Public Studio is supervised by RCA studio assistants and instructors. There is no set theme or project for drop-in studio hours, but the staff will always be there to share new techniques, equipment, and ideas with you! Come to hang out in community, use any of RCA’s supplies, and create independently!
Free to attend, but donations always appreciated.

Artists in grades 2nd-5th are invited to explore animals in all kinds of environments during this 5 week Monday afterschool session. Using T.A.B. teaching methods, students will be introduced to art making techniques ranging from painting, paper mache, wire sculpture, drawing, printmaking and more.
Students then spend their studio time applying what they've learned to create whatever they'd like-- a stuffed polar bear, a sculpture of what a shark eats in a day, a diorama of a wolf's habitat...anything is possible! The session concludes with a student art show to celebrate their hard work.

Queer Kids Fest 2024
Hooray, it’s Queer Kids Fest 2024!
On Saturday, October 5, 10:30am-2:30pm, Transhealth presents a joyful festival of music, art, books, and creativity for 2SLGBTQIA+ kids, families, and allies at the Northampton Center for the Arts!
Carrie Ferguson and the Grumpytime Club Band will perform. Special guest authors to be announced. Resilient Community Arts and Crooked Stick Pops will be there, and the High Five Books crew, too!
Youth ages 6 to 18 are invited to sign up for 5-minute open mic performance slots of songs, jokes, stand-up comedy, music and more. This event is 100% FREE!

Whether you're an experienced needlepoint artisan or you've never held an embroidery hoop in your life - come stitch with us in September!
Stitch your Heart Out is comprised of four workshops to explore needlepoint techniques. Sign up for all four to get the full experience (and a discount!) or pick and choose which nights you want. Every week we will offer instruction on stitching techniques, as well as an option for independent work for more experienced stitchers. Each workshop will be two hours, from 5:30-7:30 PM.
